This series of tables was made with the idea of bringing the qualities of small hand made paper models to a life size usable scale.
Through thin elements with exaggerated proportions and a slight bending of materials, the tables appear pliable and light, as if made from paper. They are composed of rigid 3mm steel sheets, and steel rod legs ranging in diameter from 6 to10mm, in accordance with the height and widths of each table. While free curves and slightly draping edges were formed, they maintain level surfaces and balanced bases that are able to support heavy loads. Bright matte colors were derived from sheets of construction-paper, as if these were little hand cut paper tables, standing for just a moment.
